Vista 2016

The Vista event was green and lush this year after all the rain we've had here in San Diego. The troops were up to their knees in weeds on the battlefield. Good times! Sunday we were rained out. That doesn't happen too often, but it did this time and some got caught in the mud trying to get out. Thankfully, we were at the Steam Engine Museum which meant we had help pulling our cars and trucks out. If you've never attended the Vista event, put it on your list. It is one of the nicest that we attend. I'm a little partial, because my husband has been promoted twice at Vista. This year he was promoted to First Sergeant. I'm a proud wife!
